Turboball 1.0 is a 3D brick-busting arcade game, similar to 2D Arkanoid or Ricochet.
This game was developed by Arcadebird, but they decided not to offer it in its site, www.arcadebird.com. They licensed it to Media Contact LLC, and they´re giving it away for free on their site.
In Turboball 1.0 you have to destroy all the bricks on the board. You accomplish that making a ball bounce on your spaceship, or the three walls of the cubicle in which you play. You must avoid the ball to get behind you, cause if this happen you will lose a life.
You control your spaceship with the mouse, and perform every shooting action with the left button. The ESC key will pause the game, and you can resume or abandon it later using the mouse.
Some bricks, when hit, will release special bonuses. Should you catch them, you will get the effect (good or bad) they have. Some bricks will release weapons that you can use against the bricks, expand your spaceship, upgrade the quantity or quality of the balls or even start a meteorites rain.
